The Central Government & Food Supplies and Consumer Department has implemented a scheme, PDS (Public Distribution System) to ensure monthly quota and make people aware of the scheme and their right to approach in case of any inconsistency in essential commodities like food grains & kerosene oil to them. To avail this government service or scheme, people of Odisha will have to apply for new ration card under Above Poverty Line (APL), Below poverty Line (BPL) Antodaya Anna Yojana (AAY), or Annapurna Yojana (AP) Scheme.

- Click at link "NFSA Cards & Beneficiaries" at left corner of the homepage of official website.
- Abstract report page of Odisha Ration Card New List 2024 will appear on your screen, on this page select your District, Block and FPS (Fair Price Shop) code and name.
- After selecting all necessary details click on "Get Report" button, you will get a complete list of all ration cards in that particular block under particular FPS code
- You can search your family details by ration card number or father name or spouse name or name of head of family (HOF) .
- To open your ration card click on ration card number, you will get all details of family members with age, relation to head of family etc.
- If you find it difficult to search your name or ration card number, you can take help of "Search Box" in that box enter your Name or Ration Card Number then click on Find button you will be redirected to your ration card number.

The Applicants whose name does not appear in the Odisha Ration Card New List 2024 can apply online for new ration card at the online portal of Odisha Government. Check below the whole process of applying for new ration card
- First visit Online Portal http://www.foododisha.in/
- At homepage, go to online services column or directly click on this link http://www.foododisha.in/citizenservice.asp?GL=eservice&lnk=29
- There will be to columns, one for NFSA (National Food Security Act) and SFSS (State Food Security Scheme). Click on "Apply New Card"
- Then fill your present residential address and permanent Residential address detail and time period you are living at that address,then click next
- Now select Ration Card Type from AAY, APL, BPL. Now select FPS details from whom you want to take PDS items. Also select combination of food you want to take. Them click Next
- On Next page fill details of family members including their age, date of birth,relation to head of family etc then click next.
- On Next page Fill Other info like Electrical division and distribution company, Oil Company, LPG distributor, LPG Consumer Number, Residence Proof, Mobile Number, Auto Inclusion, Bank Name, Account Number etc.
- After filling all details click save and print acknowledge for further reference. and submit your application of new ration card.
