PM Jan Aushadhi Kendra List 2026
Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) was launched by the Department of Pharmaceuticals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers in November 2008. The main aim was to give people quality generic medicines at low rates. Dedicated outlets called Janaushadhi Kendras were set up for this purpose.
The network has grown fast over the years. The product basket now has 2,110 medicines and 315 surgical items, medical consumables and devices. It covers all major groups like cardiovascular, anti-cancer, anti-diabetic, anti-infectives, anti-allergic and gastro-intestinal medicines.
From 2021-22 to 2025-26, PMBJP made sales of ₹7,873.85 crore through these kendras. This led to savings of around ₹37,200 crore for citizens. The scheme runs on a franchise-like model. Individual entrepreneurs, NGOs, societies, trusts, firms and private companies can all apply to open a kendra.
To fix supply gaps, PMBI has set up five warehouses and a network of 42 distributors. Since September 2024, kendra owners get a monthly incentive for stocking 200 commonly used medicines. The capping of ₹5 lakh on purchase-based incentive has also been removed, which means owners can earn more as sales grow.

STEP 4 - Scroll over the "PMBJP" tab in the header and click on the "Locate PMBJK Kendra" link to find details about Jan Aushadhi stores.
STEP 5 - Here, select the type, state, status (open or functional) and district, then click the "Search" button to view the PM Jan Aushadhi Kendra list. For example, you can pick kendra type, state as UP, status as Functional, district as All Stores and hit "Search".
STEP 6 - You can find your nearest Janaushadhi store in the list to buy generic medicines at lower cost. To search a specific kendra, press "CTRL+F" and type the store name. You can also press "CTRL+P" to print the list.

- A one-time incentive of ₹2 lakh is given for furniture, fixtures, computers and printers for kendras opened in North-Eastern states, Himalayan areas, islands or aspirational districts, or opened by women, Divyang, SC and ST people.
- Jan Aushadhi medicine prices are 50% to 90% lower than the prices of branded medicines sold in the market.
- Medicines come only from WHO-GMP certified suppliers, and every batch is tested at NABL-accredited labs before it reaches the kendras.
