Maharashtra Police Bharti Documents List 2025

Below is the list of documents required to apply for the police constable post in Maharashtra. Candidates must present the necessary certificates and notarized copies during the document verification process.

  • School Leaving Certificate / 10th Certificate
  • Birth Certificate
  • 12th Educational Qualification Marksheet
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Caste Certificate for candidates claiming reservation along with a valid non-creamy layer certificate (excluding SC/ST).
  • If seeking special reservations (e.g., for sports, ex-servicemen, etc.), valid certificates must be provided.
  • Aadhar Card (optional).
  • Original certificates and two clear photocopies during document verification.
  • Receipts of application will not be considered valid for receiving certificates.
  • Candidates without original certificates may be disqualified.
  • All necessary certificates, except the caste validity certificate, should be presented during the verification process.
  • Candidates must bring their issued Police Recruitment Admit Card.
  • Candidates should also present two photocopies of the application submitted (with Registration ID) and recent passport-sized photographs.
  • Backward class candidates can apply under the open category but not vice-versa.
  • Candidates must verify the available vacancies in their respective categories before submitting the application.
  • All documents presented during verification must clearly indicate the full name, issuance date, and caste classification, if applicable.
  • Caste and non-creamy layer certificates must be in the prescribed format.
  • To gain the benefit of reservations, backward class candidates must present valid caste and non-creamy layer certificates.
  • Candidates failing to present the required documentation will be disqualified from the caste/parallel reservation benefits.
  • In case of discrepancies in the documentation during verification, candidates will be categorized based on merit.
  • During the verification process, candidates must bring the hard copies of their submitted application and the physical and written examination admit cards along with two passport-size photographs.
