The Directorate of Medical Education in Tamil Nadu has released the MBBS rank list for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the state. For the academic year 2023-24, there are approximately 3950 MBBS seats and 1000 BDS seats available in various government medical and dental colleges across Tamil Nadu. The NEET MBBS Tamil Nadu rank list includes details such as candidate names, application numbers, NEET UG roll numbers, NEET scores, state ranks, category ranks, and common ranks.
The TN MBBS rank list is prepared separately for state quota, management quota, and NRI quota by the admission authority. This rank list is based on the NEET scores of candidates who have applied for admission to government and private medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. The NEET merit list for Tamil Nadu will be utilized for filling up 85% of the state quota seats, while the remaining seats under the All India Quota will be handled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). TN MBBS Rank List for Admission Session 2023-24
The TN MBBS rank list for the upcoming 2023-24 admission session will be published by the TN Selection Committee on the official website www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in. The allocation of seats will depend on the candidates’ preferred choices and their merit based on the reservation rules.
Admissions for the MBBS and BDS courses will proceed through online counselling based on the rankings and the preferences indicated by candidates during the application process, applying the rules of reservation established by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

TN MBBS Rank List 2025 PDF Download
Candidates who qualify based on the merit list will be scheduled for online counselling. Admissions to MBBS and BDS degree courses for the academic year (2023-24) will be based solely on the scores attained in the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2025). Both general and special category medical seats will be filled under various quotas including the Government Quota (GQ), Management Quota (MQ), NRI Quota, PWD quota, Ex-Servicemen Quota, Sports Quota, and 7.5% Special Preferential Quota.
All selections and admissions for MBBS and BDS courses in any recognized medical institution are conditioned on meeting the admission criteria including eligibility, rank in the merit list, medical fitness, and other criteria set by the Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu, and TN DR.M.G.R. Medical University.
