The Government of the United States has declared eleven holidays in a calendar year 2025 as federal holidays. All non-essential federal government offices are closed on these federal holidays. If any federal holiday falls on Saturday, Sunday, or any other non-working day, the holiday is observed either on the day before or the day after that non-working day.
