ITI Trades Overview: In 2025, the Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship continues to focus on providing skill-based industrial training to unemployed youth through various ITI trades. Across India, there are over 180 ITI trades available for students to gain skills necessary for the workforce. The quality of training in ITI colleges is consistently improved through enhancements in training methodologies, updated curriculums, and teacher-student training collaborations with the industrial sector.
The ITI trade list comprises both engineering and non-engineering courses, each lasting one to two years, available in government and private ITI colleges.
