Central Bureau of Narcotics has released www.cbn.nic.in 2023-24 new list for cultivations of opium crop in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Jaora, Garoth of Madhya Pradesh and Kota, Chittorgarh, Jhalawar, Bhilwara, Pratapgarh of Rajasthan as per new opium policy dated 13 September 2023. The central government has given grant of licence for cultivation of opium poppy for obtaining opium gum through lancing from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2023. The government of India has issued new opium policy for Minimum Qualifying Yield (MQY) for year the year 2022-23 and list of regions for cultivation of opium crop during year 2023-24. The central government has set some conditions and Minimum Qualifying Yield (MQY) to get licenses by farmers to cultivate opium poppy crop in some specific regions. There are two type of policies first for obtaining opium gum through lacing and other is for production of poppy straw from which no juice is extracted through lancing. In India Opium crop is cultivated in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for production of opium gum, alkaloids, morphine, codeine and thebaine for medical and scientific purpose. The new afim patta list (अफीम के पट्टे की लिस्ट) will be announced on 1 October 2023. The new license to farmer for cultivation of opium poppy will be issued for session 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024.

Step 2: At the home page of CBN website go to latest notifications and search for "List of Eligible and Ineligible Cultivators (2023-24) for the Opium Crop Year 2023-24"
Step 3: Now select type of policy, category, state name and DOO name then click on "Get List" button.
Step 4: You can save pdf file and search your name or farmer unique code by using search option or pressing CTRL+P on your keyboard.
