Assam Cabinet Minister List 2023: CM of Assam state Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has allocated portfolios to 15 members of his cabinet. His council of ministers comprises 12 cabinet ministers from BJP, 2 from alliance partner AGP and 1 from the UPPL. Recently there are two new faces including in the Assam government cabinet ministry, Shri Jayanta Malla Baruah as Public Health Engineering, Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship, Tourism Minister and Smt. Nandita Gorlosa as Power, Cooperation, Mines & Minerals, Indigenous & Tribal Faith and Culture Minister.

Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took oath as the 15th Chief Minister of Assam on 10 May 2021. 15 other MLA also took oath as cabinet ministers of Assam state and oath of office is administered by governor Jagdish Mukhi.
