Himachal Pradesh Cabinet Minister List: Himachal Pradesh general election of Vidhan Sabha were held on 12 November 2022. Indian National Congress has won 40 seats out of total 68 assembly seats including 10 in Kangra, 7 in Shimla, 4 each in Una, Solan and Hamirpur, 3 in Sirmaur, 2 in Chamba and Kullu, and 1 each in Mandi, Bilaspur, Kinnaur, Lahaul and Spiti district.
The Congress Leader Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was sworn in as 15th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. He took oath as Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh in the presence of Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress new president Mallikarjun Kharge. The oath of office was administered by the governor of HP, Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. Mukesh Agnihotri also took oath as Deputy Chief Minister of the state. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has kept Home Ministry, Finance department, Personal, Planning, General Administration portfolios. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri has been allotted with Jal Shakti, Transport and Language, Art and Culture departments. The all other departments that are not allocated to any other minister will be kept with CM Sukhu. The expansion of full cabinet will be done after 20 December 2022.
