List of Barred Items in CBSE Board Exam
Students must avoid bringing the following items to their CBSE Board Examination for 10th and 12th classes:
- Unnecessary stationery items that are not required for the exam
- Calculator
- Pen drive
- Log table
- Electronic pen
- Scanner
- Communication devices – Mobile Phone, Bluetooth headsets, Earphones, Microphones, Pagers, Health Bands
- Notebooks and textbooks of any kind
- Guides or books of any subject
- Paper chits
- Notes
- Goggles
- Handbags
- Wallets
- Accessories of any sort – ornaments, rings, nose pins, chains, necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches, caps, and belts
- Watches and Belts
- Any metallic items
- Any eatable item, opened or packed
- Personal water bottles; however, students with specific conditions can carry medicines and a transparent water bottle.
Students should ensure that they do not bring any items listed as barred into the CBSE Board Exam.
List of Items Allowed at CBSE Examination Centers
The following items are permitted for students to carry into the examination hall:
- Admit Card
- ID Proof like Aadhar Card, Pan Card
- School ID Card
- Passport Size Photo
- Pen or Pencil
- Eraser, Sharpener, and Scale
- Transparent Geometry Box
- Transparent Water Bottle
CBSE Board Exam Rules and Regulations
Students must follow these important rules and instructions while appearing for the CBSE Board Exams:
- Candidates must arrive at the examination center before 9:30 AM; otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter.
- It is mandatory to carry the CBSE Board Admit Card and School ID Card; failing to do so will result in prohibition from taking the exam.
- Invigilators will check the candidates' CBSE Board Admit Card and School ID before they can enter the examination hall.
- Seating arrangements are based on the board roll number; students must not sit at any other seat.
- Candidates are required to adhere to the CBSE dress code by wearing appropriate uniforms and shoes.
- All barred items listed above are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
- Students will have 3 hours to complete their examination.
- An additional 15 minutes will be provided for reviewing the question paper.
- The invigilator will verify the candidates' CBSE Admit Cards and sign their answer sheets.
- Misconduct or unfair means will result in disqualification.
- The examinations commence at exactly 10 AM and end at 1 PM.
- Physically challenged candidates will receive an extra 30 minutes to complete their exams.
- Complete silence must be maintained inside the examination hall.
