The Maharashtra government has decided not to conduct a common entrance test (CET) for admission to non-professional courses in the upcoming academic year following the HSC or Class 12th results. This follows the cancellation of CET for FYJC or Class 11th admission by the Bombay High Court.
mu.ac.in Merit List for UG Admission in Mumbai University
The University of Mumbai has released the merit list for undergraduate (UG) courses admission for the 2025 session. Students who have applied for admission to UG courses at Mumbai University-affiliated colleges can now check the merit list on the official website mu.ac.in. The merit list will be available for BA, BAF, BCom, BSc, BFM, BMM, and other courses offered by the university.

- Step 1: Visit the official website of Mumbai University at https://mu.ac.in.
- Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the students tab and click on "Admission" or use the direct link https://mumoa.digitaluniversity.ac.
- Step 3: You will need to log in using your username and password on the MU admission page.
- Step 4: The merit list will appear on your screen once logged in.
List of Documents Required for MU Admission 2025
The following documents are required for admission to the University of Mumbai:
- Domicile Certificate.
- Passing Certificate / SSC Mark Sheet.
- Class 12th Mark Sheet / Passing Certificate.
- Date of Birth Proof.
- Migration Certificate.
- Aadhaar Card.
Students must submit an undertaking to confirm their admission to any college. Colleges may allot provisional admission to students and will confirm it after the submission of the hard copy of the mark sheet and other certificates.
