Nobel Prize Winners List: The Nobel Prize is given to a person for his or her contributions in any of five fields Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace. However, there is one more prize in economic science field known as "The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economics Science in Memory of Alfred Nobel" which is not officially Noble Prize.

The Nobel Prize of Physics, Chemistry and Economics science, is presented by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine by Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institute, Nobel Prize of Literature by Swedish Academy and Nobel Prize of Peace by Norwegian Nobel Committee. The Nobel Prize includes a gold medal, a diploma and a monetary award of 10 million SEK (approx. ₹1 crore Indian rupees or US $1,145,000). The Nobel Prizes were first awarded in year 1901, till now total 975 people and organizations has been awarded with the prize.
