The Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana is a skill development programme for the unemployed youths of India to impart technical training in various trades to enhance their employability and entrepreneurship. Free of cost training being imparted in Railway Training Institutes for eligible youths across the country. Any Matric passed student between 18-35 years age limit can select and apply for training online as well as offline. Certificate will be provided after successful completion of training.
Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana 2022 online application form are invited by Indian Railways at official website railkvy.indianrailways.gov.in. Rail KVY scheme has been launched by Indian Railways to provide skill development training to youths. As per the official notification, Indian Railways will soon start providing training to youth under RKVY scheme. The several railway zones will train 50000 youths as a part of the rail skill development scheme.

Eligibility for Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana 2024
There are following eligibility criteria for applying online Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana registration.
- Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not be more than 35 years as on the date of notification.
- Candidate must have passed high school examination or equivalent from an institution recognized by state/central government.
- Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates should be medically fit to undergo training. Candidate will be required to submit Fitness Certificate from a registered MBBS Doctor, certifying that candidates is fit to undergo training in industrial environment and is fit with respect to visual/hearing/mental condition and is not suffering from any communicable disease.
List of Documents required for RKVY Skill Development Training
The below list of documents which are required to fill the application form of Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana. Shortlisted candidates can upload scanned copies of the following documents:-
- Matric (10th) mark sheet (or certificate)
- Photo ID
- Notarized affidavit
- Medical certificate
The dates for uploading scanned copies is between 26.03.2022 (00:00 hrs.) to 31.03.2022 (23:59 hrs.). If these mandatory documents are not attached with the RKVY form, the application will be rejected. The selection of the trainees will be on the basis of merit and marks obtained in 10th class.

Importance of RKVY 2024
- The RKVY scheme is run by Central Government that provides training in the railway industry to youth.
