Karnataka New Ministers List: Indian National Congress party has won Karnataka Assembly election by winning 135 seats defeating BJP party who manage to win only 66 seats. Senior congress leader Siddaramaiah took oath as the new chief minister of Karnataka state on 20 May 2023 at Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. The oath of office was administered by Thawar Chand Gehlot governor of Karnataka. Dk Shivakumar took oath as deputy chief minister of state and eight MLA took as cabinet minister including Mallikarjun Kharge's Son Priyank, Lingayat leader MB Patil, G Parameshwara, K H Muniyappa and others.
On 27 May 2023 at Raj Bhavan Bengaluru, 24 MLA of congress party took oath as new ministers of Karnataka state. Now there are total 34 cabinet ministers which is maximum number allowed for cabinet expansions under law. Lakshmi Hebbalkar is only women in Karnataka cabinet and Boseraju who is not a member of Karnataka legislature is also included in cabinet.
