Gujarat Cabinet Minister List: Gujarat government expanded its council of ministers on 17 October 2025 and the same team of 26 ministers is in office in 2026. Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Rajnikant Patel leads the council, with Harsh Sanghavi as the new Deputy Chief Minister.
Governor Acharya Devvrat administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly inducted ministers at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. The reshuffle came after the entire previous cabinet, except Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, submitted its resignation.
The new council of ministers includes 1 Chief Minister, 1 Deputy Chief Minister, 8 Cabinet Ministers and 16 Ministers of State. Out of these 16 Ministers of State, three hold independent charge.
Cabinet Ministers Kanubhai Desai, Rushikesh Patel and Kunvarjibhai Bavaliya, along with Minister of State Parshottambhai Solanki, were retained from the earlier council. The rest are new faces inducted in the October 2025 expansion.
