Ministry of Rural Development has kept the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G) beneficiary list live on the new official portal pmayg.dord.gov.in. The older pmayg.nic.in address has moved to this new website, and anyone who applied for a house under PMAY-G can now check his or her name in the gramin list. The list is drawn from households in the approved Permanent Wait List (PWL), SECC-2011 data and the finalized Awaas+ 2024 survey lists.
PMAY-G 2.0, cleared by the Union Cabinet in August 2024, will build 2 crore extra pucca houses in rural areas between 2024-25 and 2028-29 with an outlay of about ₹3.06 lakh crore. The total target of the scheme now stands at 4.95 crore houses by March 2029. Around 4.06 crore houses have already been allotted to states and union territories, out of which more than 3.91 crore have been sanctioned and about 3.15 crore are complete. Families surveyed under SECC-2011 or Awaas+ 2024 can find their name state wise, district wise, block wise and gram panchayat wise in pmayg.dord.gov.in gramin list.
Selection of beneficiaries is based on housing deficiency and other social deprivation parameters in SECC-2011 data and the finalized Awaas+ list, verified by gram sabhas of the villages. PMAY-G gramin list follows the deprivation score, so families with a higher deprivation score get priority in the annual select list. Eligible families also get ₹12,000 for a toilet under Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin and 90 to 95 days of unskilled labor wages under MGNREGA.
PMAY-G Gramin List 2026 - How to Check at pmayg.dord.gov.in
The complete step by step process to check the PMAY-G gramin list 2026 and download the beneficiary list at pmayg.dord.gov.in is given below.
STEP 1 - Visit the official website of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana Gramin at pmayg.dord.gov.in. The old pmayg.nic.in address no longer opens for most users, so use the new portal.
STEP 2 - To download the gram panchayat wise beneficiary list, open the report page at report.pmayg.dord.gov.in and click on "Houses Progress against the target financial year" under section A. Physical Progress Reports. Fill in the selection filters: choose "PMAYG Cumulative Progress Till Date", select the state, district, block and panchayat, then click submit.
STEP 3 - The PMAY-G list of beneficiaries opens with village name, registration number, beneficiary name, father or mother name, sanction number, sanctioned amount, installment paid and house status. Use the "Download Excel" and "Download PDF" tabs to save the list for reference.
STEP 4 - To check a single name with registration number, go to "Stakeholders" and then "IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary" on the homepage, or open the direct search page at awaassoft.pmayg.dord.gov.in. Enter the registration number and click submit.
STEP 5 - If the registration number is not remembered, click on "Advanced Search". Select the state, district, block, panchayat and scheme name as Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana Gramin, choose the financial year 2026-27, then search by name, BPL number, account number, sanction order or father and husband name. The PMAY-G beneficiary details will appear on screen.
The category wise SECC data summary report can also be checked through PMAY-G SECC verification report. Select state, district, block, gram panchayat, enter the captcha and click submit to open the gram panchayat wise PMAY-G permanent wait list with registration number, beneficiary name, category and priority.

PMAY-G gives direct money help to rural families for building pucca houses. The key benefits of the scheme are listed below.
- Financial support of ₹1.20 lakh for a house in plains and ₹1.30 lakh in hill states and UTs of J&K and Ladakh, paid in installments linked to construction progress through geo tagged photos.
- 90 to 95 days of unskilled labor wages under MGNREGA for the house construction work.
- Additional ₹12,000 for a toilet under Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin along with convergence support for drinking water, electricity and clean cooking fuel.
How to Apply for PMAY-G 2.0
There is no separate application form for PMAY-G. Beneficiaries are identified from the Permanent Wait List (PWL) based on SECC-2011 data and the finalized Awaas+ 2024 survey list. Families left out of the old survey can do a self survey through the free AwaasPlus 2024 mobile app on Android, or ask the panchayat surveyor to fill the details. The details go to the gram sabha for verification, and cleared households join the permanent wait list. Sanction follows later as per the yearly target of that panchayat. The money is transferred directly to the bank or post office account of the beneficiary through DBT, and payment status can be tracked on the PFMS portal.
Note: The exclusion rules were relaxed for the new phase. Owning a two wheeler or a fishing boat no longer disqualifies a family, and the monthly income ceiling has been raised to ₹15,000. Households surveyed under Awaas+ 2024 and approved by the gram sabha are now part of the PMAY-G permanent wait list.
